About

Maxine Bryan is a B.A (Hons) Central St Martin’s trained Textile Designer. Her passion for colour and illustration combined with her love of fashion and soft furnishing brings a sense of simplicity and nostalgia to her work. Her designs has been showcased and sold through trend casting companies such as, Olympia, Indigo and Interstoff.

Using traditional, contemporary and digital printing techniques Maxine manipulates her hand drawing motifs into designs through digital software programmes, therefore transforming her imageries into beautiful fashion and interior prints. These oscillate between bold, symmetrical, geometrical and subtle patterns, that in turn execute her vision to wallpaper, fabrics, rugs, ceramic as well as other homes and fashion accessories.

Great designs come from the soul so being from an exotic family background this quirky innovative designer gets her inspiration from natural, simple naïve forms that translate into lines of funky, bold and graphic surface design. Although classic in style she uses a range of mediums that brings intensity and visual depth.

Maxine creates designs that are comfortable on the eye, bringing joys of pattern and colour. She doesn’t settle for her designs to be ordinary, instead she strives for them to be much more.
